Our entry level of cover insures your pet for all veterinary costs up to £3,000. Should the unimaginable happen and your cat or dog go missing or is stolen, we'll help towards reimbursing you for your loss. And if you're unlucky enough to have to spend time in hospital, we'll help contribute towards the boarding cost of your pet for the time you're there. If you're even unluckier and have to cancel a holiday as a result of your pet falling ill or going missing, we'll provide compensation.

Premier Plus provides all the benefits of Standard cover only to a higher level and with several more. For instance, we provide pet travel cover, which includes things such as quarantine costs, Health Certificate replacement and emergency travel expenses. We'll also contribute towards covering costs if your dog causes damage to a third party's property. And in the sad event that your cat or dog passes away as result of illness, we'll help towards reimbursing you for your loss.

* Premier acceptance criteria
1. Pet must be aged over 8 weeks (no maximum age limit)
2. The excesses applicable for Veterinary Fees are: the first £75 of treatment costs if your
pet is aged under 9 at the time of treatment ; or, if your pet is aged 9 or over at time of
treatment, the cost is £75 or 15% of the treatment cost, whichever is the greater.
3. 14 day waiting period on Veterinary Fees claims.
4. Pet must NOT be a Sharpei, Pit Bull, American Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Japanese
Tosa, Fila Brasiliero, Perro De Presa Canario (Dogo Canario) or a dog crossed with these
breeds, wolves, wolf hybrid or any dog registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
5. Pet must be owned by the policyholder
6. Pet must NOT be used for breeding or business purposes
7. Policy is issued subject to condition that pet is in good health and free from disability.
8. Customer agrees to take proper and reasonable care of the pet at all times
9. Dogs must be vaccinated against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus in order to
be covered for these conditions
10. Cats must be vaccinated against feline infectitious enteritis, feline leukaemia and cat flu in order
to be covered for these conditions
** Standard acceptance criteria
